What DriveBy Intel captures
Capture is sensor agnostic. It is not tied to one device or one camera: what matters is that the observation lands in one capture record with its place attached, ready to be processed the same way every time.
- A photo of a business sign or storefront, taken on the spot.
- Location captured with the photo, with the address resolved from the coordinates, and a manual address lookup when the photo location is off or the capture is made off site.
- A voice note recorded in the moment, and written notes on what was observed.
- Company association chosen at capture time, so a sighting can be tied to the companies that should see it.
Captures land in a queue inside the platform, where they wait to be processed and converted, nothing trapped on a phone or in a camera roll.

How a capture becomes a scored lead card
Four steps, the same four the module shows its own users:
- 1. Capture. Take the photo, pin the place, add the note.
- 2. Processing. The platform reads the text on the sign and classifies the business type, turning a photo into a named, categorized business record.
- 3. Scoring. The converted lead carries a quality score, and high quality leads are flagged in the lead list so the best cards get worked first.
- 4. Routing. The lead is matched and assigned to companies and product bundles, with the reasoning recorded on the assignment.

Where leads flow
A lead card is not the end of the work. It is the start of three flows that already exist in the platform:
- Companies and the CRM. Leads are assigned to companies with the match reasoning kept on the record, and worked through the lead statuses: new, contacted, qualified, converted, lost.
- Outreach and work orders. From a lead, the module generates outreach: email drafts, call tasks, and follow ups, created as work items the team works like any other job.
