FAQ

Straight answers.

Short on purpose. Anything longer belongs in a conversation.

What is a digital twin?

A living record of a real asset: its geometry, its state, its history. It changes when the asset changes.

How does capture work?

Scanners, cameras and drones measure the site. The capture lands in the platform as evidence and becomes the twin's geometry.

What formats do you take?

LAS, LAZ and E57 point clouds, panoramas, photogrammetry and video. If a past vendor left you files, we can probably read them.

What does it cost to start?

Every engagement is scoped per asset. There is no published price list. Most start as a pilot.

How does a pilot work?

One site. Three to five use cases. Six to twelve weeks, with the success criteria agreed in writing before anyone mobilizes.

Does it connect to our maintenance system?

Yes. Twin assets link to CMMS and ERP records, so the work order and the asset it belongs to stop living in different worlds.

Do you fly your own drones?

Not yet. LIIVE SPACE is a complete design package, and capture today runs through terrestrial scanning and partners.

Who owns our data?

You do, 100%. The platform deploys as a private cloud on your infrastructure, including fully offline sites.

Is the record auditable?

Yes. Significant detections and actions bind to a case identifier in a tamper evident audit trail, with signed log exports.

What is OkariGX?

The custody layer. When product changes hands, the event signs its own evidence: sensors, valves, GPS, video.

Who is behind xGRIDx?

Bill Mercer, Houston. A decade of command and asset systems in the heaviest industries in the world. The About page has the record.

Bring us an asset.

A plant, a terminal, a building, a venue. If it exists in the world, it belongs in the system. Tell us what you operate and we will show you the twin.
